The jacuzzi and waffles in the morning were great. Staff was also fine.

Environment was not fantastic. And it's in the middle of nowhere

The first impression is not always the right one. The 2nd impression is therefore the following: The room is very clean and functional. The jacuzzi is very good after a good day. It's a little far from everything so we tried the restaurant, it's good / plentiful with Icelandic prices but it's the same everywhere. Breakfast at the top In short, nothing to complain about on our side

Spacious room. Middle of nowhere so a better chance of seeing the northern lights, we saw them :)

With it being slightly in the middle of nowhere dinner options were limited. I did message the day before asking about booking dinner but they only replied 20 minutes before our check in time saying that they had a table of 40 booked so wasn't really an option. Arguably it's not their fault but it was a bit annoying as we had to go back to the local town that we'd just driven thru before checking in (15 minutes away) not a big deal but we were hungry
